Filing H4 Extension along with H4 EAD (initial) while H4 extension and H4 EAD standalone applications pending

I have applied for my wife’s H4 EAD standalone back in May-2024. At the time of application, the expiration date for my H1 and my wife’s H4 are 02/14/25. Even after 8.5 months, the H4 EAD is pending and I have raised a service request with no response. My company has also applied for my H1 extension (premium) in 1st week of Dec-2024 along with my wife’s H4 Extension concurrently. Although my H1 was approved in 4 days, H4 extension is still pending. Unfortunately, I did not put a second H4 EAD in this bundle as I was unaware of putting multiple apps in.

Now I am in a weird time crunch, since H4 EAD and H4 extension are pending, I am considering to submit a I-539 Extension of stay + I-765 Initial application. Is it possible to do this? and are there any repercussions that I need to be aware of?

My H1 is approved through 02/2028.

You can apply H4 EAD again. I don’t see any issue.

The H4 extension just got approved. Is there a way to send my H1 approval that is good thru 2028 as supporting document to existing H4 EAD application? I am trying to avoid situation where i recieve the EAD that is already expired.
