Filling IRCA ITA form

Hi Anil,
I found this tricky question in the ITA form. I have been living in US on H1B visa and have USCIS approval number, obviously it’s lawful and legal. However I am not permanent resident of USA. So I have choose answer as NO. Is that right?

"Are you a lawful permanent resident of the United States with a valid U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) number? (required) "

Thanks.

Yes, you should say ‘no’ if you do not have a green card.

Thank you again Anil!

On the same thread. Do we need to upload all passports of an individual. The one is expired and new ones.

Hi Anil,
My son is born in USA and has US passport. So should we select ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ for him? If we select ‘Yes’ then it add another fields for “Document Number” and “Expiry Date”. Can you please advice.
Thanks.

What is the problem with giving document number and expiry date?

The question is as follows:
"Are you a lawful permanent resident of the United States with a valid U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) number? (required) "
If I choose “Yes” then it requires document number, but I am not sure which USCIS number. He is by birth citizen, right. Can I enter passport number instead?
Thanks.

Hi @San16

Yes, you can enter US passport number.

Okay, thank you Anil!
