Form I944 details for Asset & resources - can i use Indian bank account?

Hi Anil,

I am in process of completing my form I944 for AOS process. I have below questions regarding the same:

In form I944 under Part 3 (Your and Your household member’s asset, resources, and financial status) do we need to consider foreign (India) bank account balance as well under type of asset?

if yes, then what conversion rate should we consider to show in USD?

You can show your Indian bank balance on form i944 along with Indian real estate, stocks or any other financial asset.

You can use the current USD to INR exchange rate i.e. exchange rate on the day of filling the form.
