Need your guidance on my application for L2 EAD. I am in H1 and will soon be applying for a COS to L2. My husband’s organization will not apply EAD . Can we apply for L2 EAD receipt numbers? Both L1 and L2 receipt numbers are needed?
L2 no more need to apply for EAD. When you change the status from H1B to L2, your L2 approval notice will have I-94 attached that will have annotation stating you are eligible for work authorization.
