We have a dropbox appointment later in May in New Delhi. Wanted to evaluate the risks of traveling outside US while H4-EAD is pending. 3 ERs(expedite requests) denied so far,

From multiple forums its understood that an RFE can come in for updated I94 and incur delays. Are there any other issues that can occur about the petition?

EAD application may keep processing while you travel. You can proactively submit the updated I-94 to USCIS service center processing your EAD application if it is still pending after you enter the US.
