I would like to explain my current H1B situation and seek your guidance.
I am currently on H1B and working for Company A at client location C1. My H1B extension for the C1 location was filed on 03/25/2026, and it is currently pending. My current H1B/I-94 is valid until 06/08/2026.
Meanwhile, my assignment at client location C1 ended on 05/22/2026. I am now being moved to a new client location, C2, which requires an H1B amendment. The amendment/extension filing for C2 is planned for 06/25/2026 (Post i94 expiry).
Please note that my employer has always been Company A and will continue to remain Company A going forward.
My Company said they dont want to convert the current extension to premium (Stupidity at peaks).
Can they file a new amendment/extension for Client location C2 post expiry of i94 on the support of previous extension pending?
Could you please review the situation and advise if any one faced this scenario? Appreciate your help
