I am a H1B employee started working in Texas and now i am working in NewYork and my ammendment is not filed yet to reflect the location change. For some Personal work i am planning to go to my country for 2 weeks . Shall i travel without filing the ammendment, Is there any complications if i travel whithout updated I94 document .I have my H1B valid till Feb 2024. Could anyone give me suggestion.
H1B amendment should be filed before the first day of work at the new location.
I agree anil but ammendment process will take time to get approved and i need to travel immediately. shall i travel with my old ammendment.
