H1b cap exempt to b1b2 and then back on h4 while pending B2

I was on H1b cap exempt and got laid off. I have completed PhD in Chemistry from India and was working in USA as Post Doctoral Fellow in academia at Southern Methodist University. My husband was on H1b with i140 approved. However he too got laid off after I lost my job in next week.

  1. I want to transfer to B1B2 and then back to H4 . Is it possible to convert to h4 while B2 is pending? Does it require to apply in premium processing? ( considering husband will get job meanwhile)

  2. If I got a job while B2 is pending can I convert to H1b without premium processing? If not what are my option?

  3. Can I convert from pending B2 to O1 visa?

You can convert to any visa type by filing appropriate change of status application.

If b1b2 is not yet adjudicated, we apply for i539 to move to h4 what would happen to B1B2? Do i need to retract pending b1b2?
