H1b COS and H4/H4 EAD in process at the same time

Hi everyone,

Here is my situation. Currently I am on H4 and working on H4 EAD which is expiring in Nov 2023. This year my H1B got picked up and my employer will be filing it.

As I am planning to file H4 and H4 EAD in June along with my husband’s H1B extension, is that ok If my H1B (COS) and H4/ H4 EAD are pending simultaneously or will this create any issue?

If H1B cos and H4 extension are in process at the same time then are there any chances to get the RFE?

Also, If suppose H1B COS and H4/H4 EAD extension are in process at the same time then suppose if H1B is approved first and then H4/H4 EAD extension gets approved then which status will be valid?
