H1B Drop box appointment for the people who have submitted their DS160 to the location other than chennai location ( in my case I submitted to Delhi)

@anil_am22 I was not aware of US embassy decision to centralize H1 B stamping to Chennai and Hyd location due to that I have submitted my DS160 post oct 1 2024 to Delhi consulate which was also the consulate where my last H1 B visa was awarded in 2022. Given the centralization do I need to resubmit my DS160 to Chennai location and use that DS160 confirmation number to book an appointment or can I use my existing DS160 which was submitted to New delhi consulate. Similar situation also exist for my spouse H4 visa stamping.

You can drop documents anywhere in India. They send it internally to Chennai and return it to you at the same location where you submitted it.

You should be able to use the Delhi DS160.
