H1b drop box chennai status: Passport has been received from the consular section, and is currently being processed for delivery

Hi Anil , I submitted docs for h1b dropbox chennai .

Today my passport status changed to : Passport has been received from the consular section, and is currently being processed for delivery.

But CEAC still showing as Administrative processing.

What does that mean ? Is it 221G ?

The current status of your passport is Origination Scan. What does that mean ?

But in CEAC site , its still showing as admin processing

I would suggest to wait for the email that asks you to come and collect the passport.

The status on CEAC website will change to “issued” once the visa is approved.

Yes Suresh, it’s 221g but no need to worry. They will ask you to come for interview with specific documents at anytime except couple of days in a week. I was in same situation month back. I went for an interview when i had all documents ready in my hand. Approved. Sometimes they don’t even ask for interview but ask you submit the required documents so no worries. All the best.
