H1B extension dropbox eligibility with old damaged passport and new passport

I have my expired H1B visa stamp in my old passport (VFS determined as damaged and when applied for passport renewal, vfs asked to apply in damaged category and then issued a new passport)

My old passport has following: “Passport is cancelled but any visa remains valid”

My question here is: Will above case of old passport makes me ineligible to apply for H1B extension dropbox appointment (I am satisfying all other conditions for drop box eligibility)

As long as the passport was not lost/stolen, you don’t need to worry.

You should qualify for dropbox.
