H1B-H4 transfer

I am currently on H1B. My child is H4 on me.

If I loose job and need to transfer to H4 of my spouse (spouse is also H1B)…in that case what will happen to my child’s case. Dose he needs to file fresh H4 petition (in case his I539 is pending or approved based on my H1B).

I suggest filing a new H4 application for your child also (you can include him on your H4 application) when you file for yourself.
