H1b transfer after I 140 approval -The new company still not initiated GC process

Hi Anil,

I recently joined new company in 2022 with approved i 140 (PD-Oct 2019) with my previous company. My new company still not filed my Perm and my H1b going to expire by Dec 2024. Usually what is timeline that my new employer should initiate my perm?. If in case my perm not filed before Dec 2024 or if i not got i 140 by Dec 2024 with new company will be any issue with my H1b status?. Appreciate your help,

Did you leave the company A after 180 days of i140 approval?

Yes…I left after 2 years of i 140 approval.

i140 h1b extension after 6 yrs with current / new company. Use previous employer approved i-140. Without i140, 7th yr extension if PERM pending 365+ days, including Audit. H1B Extension after 6 Years Max Out (i140 Transfer & Recapture Days) - USA
