H1B transfer while extension is pending?

Hi all,
Is it okay to file an H1B transfer to a new employer while my current extension is still pending? Just want to be sure it won’t cause issues.

Normally, you can file a transfer but a lot will depend on your current i94 validity (if you are physically in the US).
