H1b visa got 221(g)

Hi sir,

My husbands visa interview was on aug 21 and when he went in they asked 2-3 questions and asked to go to other window and from there moved to some other room where checked for all the documents and made him write a letter regarding his job details and company details. In last gave him 221(g) slip asking him to submit the documents that were submitted in RFE query. Also his b1/b2 got denied 2 yrs back.

And im on f1 opt and on full time job in usa.

Would you able to help me with this kind of scenario how much time will it gonna take!?

Thankyou

You have provided no details of what questions were asked, what documents were requested in RFE and what documents were requested in form 221g.

It is impossible to suggest anything without proper context.

Sorry,

They asked abt his company details ans where he gonna stay in usa and whether in house/ client project..he says its in-house and they asked like how much percent did you pay back and how much amount did you pay for petition …he replied with “i dont know my company will takecare of this”

And they made him write a letter stating where is will go to usa and what job he is going to do, job details and description. And about my job and details.

Also asked him abt how b1/b2 was rejected

In RFE query was abt his detail job description of previous roles

On 221(g) they tickoff administrative processing and gave the mail.id hydpfu@state.gov and asked to send previous experience letters and his usa company offer letter.

They took LCA and RFE documents at the time of interview.

.he says its in-house and they asked like how much percent did you pay back and how much amount did you pay for petition …he replied with “i dont now my company will take of this”

this is the reason he got 221g. actually we shouldn’t say inhouse project

Any chances that he will get through or denial!??!

Is this a first time H1B?

Why was his B1/B2 rejected?

With the information you have shared, it seems that visa officer has strong suspicion about the legitimate job offer in US.

The chances of in-house projects are always low.

yes, its his first time

No particular reason for b1/b2 rejection.

can he apply for f2 in mean time!!
