I am presently working for Company B and have visa validity till 08/25. It seems my present company would be laying me off soon. I switched to this company in 08/2022 just after my previous Company A had processed my visa extension till 07/2025. My manager from my previous company is willing to rehire me. In my case would company have to reapply for a transfer or is there a easy way out
If company A has not withdrawn their approved h1b (and it is still valid), you should be able to go back to work for them without filing a new application.
If they have withdrawn or it has expired, then you would need to file H1B transfer again.
