H4 ead 180 day extension eligibility

Hi,

I applied my H4 EAD extension after my expiration date, I would like to know am I eligible to work with 180 day extension rule in my case. Since I applied my extension after the expired date - I’m not sure I can continue to work or I’ve to wait till my new EAD approves.

Could you please help me this query? Appreciated your help and support on this.

You need to apply before the EAD expires and need to have valid H4 I-94.
