H4 EAD Automatic Extension if I am applying with an already expired EAD

Hello,

My last EAD expired in June of 2021 and based on the H4 approval I had applied for my extension on the 5th of November 2021.

Will my case come under the new H4 automatic 180-day extension rule and Can I start working now based on that rule?

As per my understanding, you are not eligible for EAD auto-extension since you did not file an EAD extension before the current one expired.
