H4 - I94 Renewal

Hi,

Our visa (H1B,H4,H4EAD) will expire on 06/Dec/2022 and lawyers started the extension process (H1B,H4,H4EAD)

  1. We do have H1 and h4 visas stamped

  2. Is CBP will renew the H-4 i94 at the port of entry based on the principal applicant’s new I-797(if my h1b is approved before the visa expires)

When i check with lawyers they said CBP will never extend H4 I94 based on new H1B I797

Any thoughts?

You will have to visit the border and then get the H4 i94 extended or wait for the H4 extension approval.
