H4 Visa Interview with Court Marriage, Traditional Marriage Later in Dec

Hi,

I visited India in April this year and did a court marriage (got the marriage certificate). The traditional marriage is in Dec 22. My wife’s interview is scheduled for the first week of October. What documents would be necessary to prove legitimacy of marriage? As of now, we have photographs at the court with the family, exchange of rings, a few time-stamped photos highlighting our relationship (10 years) and the marriage invitation card for the traditional wedding. Are these sufficient?

Thank you!

Commenting for visibility.

Thanks for the heads up, quite ridiculous vetting, to be honest.

Hi Daru_P, can you share the stamping experience, I am in a similar situation.

Only 1 question - “What visa you are applying for”. Visa was issued the next day itself. I believe they are pushing though the backlog.
