H4 Visa White Slip

Hi Everyone,

I am primary applicant staying in US and H1 stamped last year and valid visa till 10/2024, my wife and son recently went to India and did dropbox for chennai Visa office , My son H4 Visa is approved and wife visa is refused with white slip and no information mentioned and asked her to attend interview on Jan 22. What would be the issue, you think and what type of documents do you think will be helpful to carry and any idea on H4 Visa with white slip would be helpful.

They may be just wanting to interview her to make sure she is the one who she claims to be or if there are any status or other violations, cant say for sure.

Have her carry below documents.

  1. Copy of your passport with visa stamp and current I-797.
  2. Last three pay stubs for you.
  3. Employment verification letter for you.
  4. Marriage certificate
  5. Marriage photo/album/copy of invitation if available.
  6. Her passport.
  7. Her birth certificate.

@Kalpesh_Dalwadi Thank you for response. sorry when you say violations I didn’t get it. what type of violations you mean to say on H4 ?

Hi Wht happened your wife visa ? Can u please let me know as I see online status refused … but didn’t not receive any email from the consulate .
