H4EAD New/Extension filing

Hi,

I had filed standalone H4EAD on 10/03/2024 which is 13 months ago and still no decision yet.

my current h4 visa is expiring on 12/02/2025, i am in a process of sending the documents for H4 visa extension, along with i want to file H4 Ead also.

My question is can I withdraw the old H4EAD Standalone application before filing for h4 extension and file h4ead ?

or

while filling the I765 application can i select renewal?

If you never had an approved EAD before, then, i would select ‘New’.
