Hi All,

I need to apply for re-issue for my password. I have doubts on below question.

Have you ever applied for passport, but not issued?

When I was studying applied for passport application (offline), for that application i didn’t get any updates. (for this i don’t have any details)

After couple of years I applied for fresh passport (online) and received. (At the time of my application processing at passport center once officer identified that i applied previously and didn’t mentioned that point in the new form, they collected some amount and processed my application)

Now I am applying for re-issue passport what i need to select for this question (yes or no)?

Could you please help

It is better to write that you applied but didn’t receive it.

They may have a record still in the system.

Thanks for your reply, But it’s asking about File Number and applied date which I don’t have.
What i need to fill in the File Number and Applied Date fields?

If you don’t have it, then, it is your choice to mention that you never applied.

Were you able to figure out the next steps on what to fill in the form regarding file number, date of applying, and name of passport office?
