How long is it taking these days for USCIS to send medical RFE ?
The Medicals were originally submitted in 2020 November when I-485 was filed concurrently. The dates were current in 2022 for a while but it retrogressed and has become current again in March Bulletin.
We have new medicals done again . should we proactively send the medicals or wait for them to RFE for Medicals. Stressed out .
If I was in your place, i would get two copies of medical from doctor and then send one to USCIS without waiting for RFE.
The second copy would work as a back up in case they send an RFE.

My PD is Current as per the upcoming Dec’25 Visa Bulletin and it’s been close to 2 Years [Dec20, 2023] we have submitted the Medicals, so what are the next steps to be taken in order to be ready.
Appreciate if You could throw me some light on whether i need to reach out to USCIS or would they send us any documentation on what the next steps would be.

I’ve seen people in the same situation where the PD became current again and the medical RFE didn’t show up for a while. Sometimes they send it fast, sometimes it drags for no reason. Sending it proactively does work for some, but it’s a bit of a gamble because you never know which officer gets the file. If you already have the new medicals ready, at least you’re not stuck waiting on the doctor.
