To summarize - I did not fully understand the automatic extension rule and now in order for my wife to continue her job she will need her I-94 extended to qualify for automatic extension. Every document that we have including visa stamp is set to expire on 10th Feb 2024. Our H1B and H4 extensions were filed together in Sept 2023 and I am upgrading to Premium. If only H1B approval comes through and H4 doesn’t then what are my options to get her I-94 updated?
PS: Her H4EAD extension is also file and currently waiting on receipt number to come through.
