I’ve submitted my EOI for NSW 190 and 189, and I’m seeking some guidance regarding how to reflect recent changes in my work history:
- My ACS skill assessment was based on my role as a Graduate Developer at Company A.
- A few months ago, I was promoted to Developer at the same company. The only change was a small salary increase (~$5k); my responsibilities stayed the same.
- Now, I’m moving to Company B as a Software Engineer, with similar responsibilities.
- I have not yet completed 3 years of total experience.
Here are my questions:
- Do I need to update the promotion at Company A in my EOI?
Should I:
- Add a new entry with the new title and same company?
- Or keep it as a single entry under “Graduate Developer”, since responsibilities didn’t change and NSW doesn’t assess salary?
- How should I add my new role at Company B in the EOI?
- Should I list it as non-relevant, since it hasn’t been assessed by ACS yet?
- Before leaving Company A, what documents should I collect to help with future ACS re-assessment or visa processes?
Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated!
