Hi, How to answer this:

My application is Based on already approved h1b.

Part 3 questions

Question 3:
“Is this application based on a separate petition or application to provide your spouse, child, or parent an extension or change of status?”

  • Yes, filed with this Form I-539.
  • No.
  • Yes, filed previously and pending with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).

Question 4:
“If you answered ‘Yes’ to Item Number 2 or Item Number 3, select the Form type below.”

  • Form I-539, Application to Extend/Change Nonimmigrant Status
  • Form I-129, Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker

What’s the confusion? If you are filing H4 based on H1B, then, it should be self explanatory.

If immigration paperwork were always self-explanatory, lawyers wouldn’t make a fortune helping people with it. Right?

Your question is equally unhelpful sir.

If you are trying to save money by filling it yourself, then you should at least write/share what you are thinking to fill.

You ask open ended question and expect the universe to help you and then reply with the rudest reply.

I could have answered differently if you had shared what was your confusion about the questions but you want help with arrogance.
