I got my visa stamped from company A and they dont have project so I traveled myself. I got the new offer from company B but I cannot transfer H1B

I got my visa stamped from company A and they don’t have project so I traveled myself. I got a new offer from company B but I cannot transfer my H1B because I don’t have any paystubs and H1B is not activated. Grace period of 60 still count after reaching in the US? Can I transfer my H1B to new company? how many chances to get stamped again? after 60 days I have applied for B2 for extending stay or considering other option

What did you tell the visa officer at the port of entry? Did you tell him that you will work for company A?

This could be a problem in future.

They didn’t ask about this.

Hello,
As per my knowledge
If you haven’t worked and don’t have pay stubs, transferring your H1B can be challenging. The 60-day grace period applies only if you were previously employed. Since you haven’t activated your H1B, you may need to leave the U.S. and reapply for a new H1B with company B. Applying for a B2 visa to extend your stay could be an option, but consult an immigration attorney for the best course of action.
I hope this will help you,
Thank you
