Indian address on new passport does not match with old passport address

Hi,

I am applying for the renewal of my passport through BLS international in Canada. I am planning to provide my Indian address as the address on my passport. But my Aadhaar card has additional words in the address field which does not match with the address I put in the application form letter to letter. Can I provide only the driving license issued by the state government as my Indian address proof?

If not and I decided to put my Canadian address in the passport and Indian address as other address, do I have to provide proof of my India address?

We suggest using the Canadian address for printing on the passport as it will make the process easier for you.

You would not need Indian address proof if you opt for Canadian address printing.
