I applied for my passport renewal in the UK, but the police verification in India failed. I had used the address of my last rented flat — where I lived before moving to the UK 7 years ago — in the application. Unfortunately, I no longer have any connection to that address. I now want to update the address to my parents’ current residence, but I don’t know how to fix this mistake after submission.
