I applied for Indian passport renewal through VFS (New York jurisdiction) and submitted my 2025 Form 1040-NR as US address proof. My address matches the passport application.
Has anyone used Form 1040-NR for this purpose? Was it accepted without notarization, or did VFS request additional documents?
