hello… I am going to buy a property from a NRI owner.
NRI owner has given POA to his brother-in-law. As I am going to take loan on this purchase, I approached SBI to verify if POA will create some trouble or not. SBI loan agent says that SBI will accept POA only if it is within blood relation of the current owner.
Can you let me know if it is legally required to have POA with blood relation only?
Which law governs the POA for property registrations?
