Is it mandatory to stick photograph of the POA Holder?

Is it mandatory to stick photograph of the person whom I am giving power while in Indian embassy or it can be done in India as well?
Reason being I don’t have it now and will have to order from India if it is mandatory.

POA holder (the person whom you are giving the POA) can stick his/her picture in India.

Paste Picture in India

His/her picture is not required here in USA at the time of getting POA attested in Indian Embassy.

should power of attorney have principal’s (my) photograph fixed ?
I have to make one for my representation in property selling in India.
