I am currently on H1B visa and my employer is filing for i140 in EB2 category but i also heard getting i140 approved and eventually getting green card is faster if you are L1 visa.
Is this correct or is it valid just for those applying in EB1 category?
L1 is a visa and it allows you to easily get eligible for an EB1-based green card.
You can apply in the EB1 queue while on H1B also but it’s a little difficult to prove it.
EB1 queue for Indians is ahead of EB2/3 in visa bulletin and hence you hear that you get GC faster there.
