Is it worth to apply for EAD/AP combo card?

Hello,

Does it make sense to apply for EAD/AP card when applying for GC? My PD is 09/2014. Is it any scenario where it is beneficial?

You may find it useful if you lose your H1B job. EAD will help you stay and work without the need to find an H1-B employer.

Also, AP allows you to travel without the need for a visa stamp.
