We did the registry marriage and got a marriage certificate. Based on that, my wife applied for J2 VISA. But the officer asked to send wedding photos by email and keep the passport. The problem is we do not have wedding photos. Our social marriage will be in March 2024. What we will do in this situation? Could you please help? Any help is appreciated.

US embassy considers the social marriage function as the real marriage date (in most cases).
Simply doing the registered marriage is considered as something done just for the purpose of immigration and is usually viewed with suspicion.
In your case, the visa officer does have suspicion on the authenticity of your marriage.

Thank you very much. Could we do something in this situation? Could we tell them our situation? Now its kind of hanging. If we send photos after out social marraige, which will be on 4th March 2024, will it work? Please give your suggestion.
