My work location got changed to different state while my PERM is in process. Company lawyer said they will continue PERM but are in dilemma about filing i140 as employer has to certify and sign the i140 . What are my options ?
PERM and i140 are specific to a job and the job’s location.
If they are continuing with the PERM for location A, that means that employer will have to show on i140 that they will have this job opportunity for you at location A whenever you get Green card.
If your employer is not ready to support i140 for location A, then you will have to redo the whole PERM and i140 for new job location B.
