Minor Passport Renewal in USA

My wife’s passport includes “BEN” (sister) with her first name, as shown in her birth certificate. However, in my daughter’s current passport, the mother’s name doesn’t have “BEN,” since its not there in daughter’s birth certificate’s Mother name field.
Both old passports were issued in India.
Now, while renewing my daughter’s passport, the application asks for the mother’s name and passport, which includes “BEN”. Will this cause a mismatch issue, since my daughter’s current passport doesn’t show it? If anyone has faced this, please let me know the solution.

You should write the names as per passport.

I suggest to add ‘Ben’.
