My H4 and H4 EAD are expiring this week. I have applied for h4 and h4 extension some time back and they are pending approval.My employer has decided to put me on PTO then on LOA. Will it cause any issue for me?

No issues, you are considered in a ‘period of authorized stay’ while your H4 extension of status application is pending and provided primary H1B is in a valid status.
