My Wife H4 and My Kid H4 extension is n progress, My wife have an emergency and she need to step out of country

Hi,

My wife and daughter currently have H4 extensions (I-539) pending. Due to an emergency, my wife needs to travel to India. I understand that my wife’s H4 extension application may receive an RFE or be denied since she will have left the U.S. during the process. She plans to get her H4 visa stamped in India based on my I-797 approval before returning.

My question concerns my daughter’s pending I-539 (H4 extension) application. She will remain in the U.S. with me and will not travel. Will my wife stepping out of the country impact my daughter’s H4 application, given that my wife is the principal applicant (petitioner) for my daughter’s case?
