I’m currently on my STEM OPT F1 visa and working in the U.S. My wife had her F2 visa interview on October 8th. During the interview, the visa officer issued a 221(g) for social media verification.
Today, when I checked the case status, it says:
“A U.S. consular officer has adjudicated and refused your visa application. Please see the letter you received at the interview. For more information, please visit U.S. Consulate General Hyderabad.”
We also received an email to collect the passport. I’m not sure what this means or what steps to take next. Could you please advise me on what to do in this situation?
