Hello. My first time stand alone H4EAD application is pending with Nebraska Service Center with RD 11/04/2024 valid only till 01/09/2026. Now my Spouse’s new company is filing H1B transfer and H4 Ext. in Premium Processing. My question is - Should I file a new “initial” H4 EAD application concurrently with H1B and H4 in same package or should I wait and receive the extended I-94 and update by interfiling my previously filed H4 EAD application? Please suggest. Thanks.
If you want to save EAD filing fee, then, it is better to wait and inter file i94.
If fee is not a concern, then, file it again.

I just want to confirm that if I choose the option of interfiling, I can send my husband’s latest I-797 approval and my latest I-539 receipt notices (as I am expecting only the H1B will be premium processed). Will I get the EAD as per the latest I-94 extensions till 2028 though my current EAD application is valid only till 01/09/2026? TIA.
They take the H1B & H4 application’s validity date that you use as the basis and then match H4 EAD end date.
There is no guarantee with interfiling that they will consider the new documents as this interfiling process is ‘Bhagwaan bharose’ type. You just send the documents and pray that it reaches them and they correctly add it to your pending application file.
