I have transferred my H1B to a new employer and the H1B transfer has been approved but the approval notice does not have my Alien Number. I have approved I-140 with my previous employer and the Alien Number is available in the previous H1B approval notices.
Is this an issue and do we need to take any action on this? Does this have any impact on the future extension or Visa Stamping?
I don’t think this will create any issues. Did you talk to your immigration lawyer? If yes, what did they say.
Yes. I have checked with my new employer’s attorney and they just replied that there are no implications of this scenario.
I felt that answer is vague and wanted to get more clarification. Wanted to know, if anyone has gone through this situation or has knowledge if this is going to be an issue later.
