My wife applied for her h1b extension on 12/2024 with an end date as 3/29/2025 (6 years of H1B is ending). She worked till 3/14/2025. When the extension is still pending, we requested to apply for change of status from h1 to H4 visa in march 2025. In the I539 petition we mentioned the effective date should be 3/15/2025. she got her h1b approval from 1/17/2025 to 3/18/2025 on April 10 2025. The dates are overlapping here. and also H1B is approved after her h4 visa within a gap of 8 days. H4 visa came on 3/30/2025 with approval dates as 1/16/2025 to 11/27/2027.Created a service request with uscis on 10/15/2025 regarding of the change of dates on my h4 approval with a start date as 3/15/2025 even the attorney created a request with uscis no response did a lot of follow ups. My wife cannot travel to India at the moment as she is 5 months pregnant.
Can anyone suggest the next steps or else how much have you waited on this uscis service request and what can be done to expedite this.
