Pasport Stuck at US Embassy for B1-B2 Visa

When I check the status on the Consular Electronic Application Center (CEAC) website, the “Case Last Updated” date has remained as 07-Feb-2025 for an extended period. Additionally, I have not received any notices or emails from the US embassy regarding my application.

Could you please advise me on the current status of my application? Is there any additional documentation required from my side, or could there be a technical issue causing the status to remain unchanged?

Did they give you any form 221g after the interview?

I attended my visa interview on 31st January 2025, and the consular officer informed me that my visa was approved and that I would receive it within a week. However, I have not received my visa, nor have I received any rejection notice or other communication."

Each time I follow up with the embassy, they respond that my application is under administrative processing and that I will be notified when my passport is ready for pickup.

You should wait then. Its just matter of time. You will get the visa stamped. Don’t worry.

The issue is the timing of booking a flight ticket. I only have one week remaining before my travel date.
