I have applied for passport renewal under tatkal category. I received an email saying police verification has been started. A few hours later i also got an update saying my passport has been dispatched and will be sent via fedex. I have am fighting multiple civil cases over a land dispute in indian court. I am afraid this may lead to an adverse report upon police verification. In such a case that i get an adverse report, what will happen to my newly issued passport?
Your passport won’t be cancelled, if that’s what you are worried about (unless there are grave issues back home and there is court order).
