I sent my passport renewal application to VFS NY on April 10, 2024 and it was delivered by fedex next day April 11 but till date April 17th there is no acknowledgement from them and tracking website is not showing any status. I see almost everyone is getting acknowledgement within 1 or 2 days… anyone facing same issue ?
It all depends on current workload. Give it a couple of days more and then reach out to VFS.

It took me one week to get acknowledgement. Washington DC location. I also saw a similar response in another forum that it took them one week for acknowledgement from NY location. Looks like a trend recently.
