Hi,
My passport renewal application was rejected with the following remarks.
I dont see how this is possible because diplomatic passport follows an entirely different process/application. Has anyone encountered this in the past? And any thoughts on what I may have done wrong?

THE CONSULATE IS NO LONGER ACCEPTING YOUR APPLICATION BECAUSE YOU ARE MISSING YOUR CURRENT PASSPORT DETAILS. ON SECOND PAGE OF YOUR APPLICATION, YOU HAS MENTIONED YES ON DIPLOMATIC SECTION INSTEAD OF NO. KINDLY CREATE NEW APPLICATION AND RE APPLY.
