I am in the process of submitting a passport renewal application in the Atlanta center, wherein I observed that my father’s and mother’s names printed on my current passport are in the sequence of:
Last name Given name

While filling in the details on the Government site for the passport renewal form, it specifically asks for the given name and surname for the father’s and mother’s name.
Due to which the sequence is getting changed on the passport preview page, it is in the below format:
Given name Last name

Please let me know if it’s OK to continue with this or if we have alternatives.
I would be grateful for your prompt response.

It is better to change it now.

This is because if VFS rejects it, they won’t refund the full fee later and you will be asked to redo it.
